At My Mother’s Table

Book of the Exhibition

At My Mother’s Table delves into the formative culinary experiences of influential chefs and food writers, friends, family, and strangers. The stories come from around the world and span several generations, these were then painstakingly recreated in 1:12 scale. Featuring the childhood memories of Nigel Slater, Ken Hom, Ainsley Harriott, Meera Sodha, Felicity Cloake, Sami Tamimi, Claire Thomson, and Anna Masing.

Using kitchen tables as a storytelling devise, the exhibition explored childhood, nostalgia, food, memory, and world culture.

Working with world renowned photographer Karli Jai Smith, we are proud to present this coffee table book to accompany the exhibition.
